Lost Speedways

This ever-popular annual program brings together fans, competitors, historians and media members to look back at the heroes of the past and the sppedways they competed on. Many have been lost to time but all come back to life through memorabilia displays, photos, videos and oral presentations. Attendees are encouraged to brings scrapbooks and other memorabilia to share.

12:30 pm:  Featured speakers & topics include

  • Mark Supley, on Capital District motorcycle racing
  • Bill Ladabouche, on the Pico, Vermont Speedway
  • Ken Parrotte, on the Oswego Speedway
  • John Snyder, award-winning racing journalist, on  New Jersey's Flemington Fairgrounds and Harmony Speedway and the short track at Nazareth, Pennsylvania speedways
  • Walt Schwinning, noted dirt modified builder, on the racers who completed and won in his creations
