1990 Mercedes-Benz 300CE “Hammer”1990 Mercedes-Benz 300CE serial # WDBEA51D5LB224910 was the very last AMG Hammer produced at AMG of North America's headquarters located at 233 West Ogden Avenue, Westmont, Illinois. AMG purchased the Mercedes-Benz new from Pocus Motor Sales an authorized Mercedes dealer in Aurora, IL and sold the AMG Hammer to Gary Primm of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Gary was a major car collector and had purchased several high-end sports cars from AMG Central, ranging from a 1989 Porsche Speedster modified to Porsche 935 specs along with two hundred mobile homes and everything in between. The drivetrain for the Primm Hammer as it was commonly referred to came out of an AMG 4-Cam Mercedes sedan owned by Geneal Motors and later modified into the only 6.6-liter Hammer built. Modifications to the engine were carried out by John Hajduk, owner of Motorkraft in Noblesville, Indiana.

Motorkraft was a world-renowned builder of Ferrari engines and had an engine dyno room. The specially designed crankshaft was produced by a famous Nascar engine builder from the south. Special AMG Option: AMG 17" Rims chrome plated with red inserts.
