The 1970 model year marked a major evolution for the GTO Judge introducing sharper styling new color options and the most powerful engines Pontiac had ever offered. Designed to make a statement both on the street and at the track the Judge combined bold graphics and aerodynamic refinements with serious performance. The Ram Air IV 400-cubic-inch V8 remained the top engine choice delivering 370 horsepower and representing the peak of Pontiac’s factory muscle car engineering.

Finished in the eye-catching Orbit Orange this Judge represents one of the most iconic muscle car color combinations of the era. Orbit Orange was a special color created exclusively for the Judge after Carousel Red proved less suited to the 1970 body design. Introduced later in the production year it was not shared with any other General Motors models.

This example features the Ram Air IV engine a four-speed manual transmission hood-mounted tachometer and all the trademark Judge graphics. It exemplifies Pontiac’s flair for style and uncompromising performance. This car is also equipped with the rare Power Flow Ventilation system a unique feature that provided added interior airflow without the extra weight or complexity of an air conditioning unit. The system was an unusual option for high-performance models emphasizing both driver comfort and weight reduction.
