SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (Jan. 5, 2021) – The Saratoga Automobile Museum has announced that George Fisher of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. is the winner of the Museum’s 2020 sweepstakes, sponsored by Keeler Motor Car Company of Latham, N.Y. Keeler Mercedes General Manager Peter Connolly pulled the winning ticket from thousands of entries on Dec. 30, 2020.
George and his wife had moved to Saratoga Springs over a decade ago and spend time visiting the Saratoga Spa State Park and the Museum to take in the various exhibits.
“We are ecstatic that a local member of our community has won our sweepstakes,” said Carly Connors, executive director. “We would also like to extend our gratitude to everyone who purchased chances to win this beautiful car and our sponsor, Keeler Motor Car Company, for their support of our ongoing mission, especially in this challenging year.”
The Fishers will drive home in the 2019 Mercedes-Benz SLC 300 Roadster with a 2.0L, four-cylinder engine mated with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. The exterior is finished in sharp Polar White, with a Sahara Beige interior and comes with a full factory warranty. Manufacturer's suggested retail price for this vehicle is over $60,000.
The Museum’s 2020 sweepstakes raised nearly $25,000 for the Saratoga Automobile Museum to continue its mission to preserve, interpret and exhibit automobiles and automotive artifacts in order to educate the public of the cultural importance, history and future impact of changing automotive design and technology.
