SARATOGA AUTOMOBILE MUSUEM ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EVENTS
Megan A. Hennessey joins Saratoga Automobile Museum as new Director of Special Events
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (Jan. 7, 2019) – The Saratoga Automobile Museum is proud to announce Megan A. Hennessey has been hired as the new Director of Special Events.
Hennessey’s background and diverse experience in event management throughout New York’s Capital Region is anticipated to strengthen and expand all current museum events, in addition to creating new opportunities and experiences for museum members and visitors alike.
“We’re ecstatic to add Megan to the team here at the Saratoga Automobile Museum,” said Carly Connors, executive director. “Her myriad experience working in hospitality and lodging will enhance the event experience for those who look to use the museum for weddings, receptions, events, and so much more. For our museum events, Megan’s insight will help enhance our exhibition openings and annual events.”
With 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Hennessey served as general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Saratoga Springs for nearly 15 years. During her tenure, Hennessey was responsible for all operations for the hotel, including the planning and management of the Excelsior Springs Event Center that opened in June 2013.
A certified hotel administrator, Hennessey has been involved in civic and charitable organizations in Saratoga Springs including as a member of the Saratoga Convention and Tourism Bureau’s executive committee and in several capacities for Saratoga Central Catholic School.
